We truly believe your getaway wouldn’t feel complete without your beloved furry companion. Our cabin isn't just pet-allowed; it was intentionally created to be a comfortable and safe space for both guests and their pets. The fenced backyard gives dogs room to explore and enjoy the outdoors, while the peaceful lake setting offers the perfect backdrop for walks, fresh air, and relaxing time together. We even provide thoughtful touches like a pet cleaning station to make traveling with pets easier and more enjoyable. Whether it’s slow mornings on the deck, evenings by the fire pit, or exploring the lakeside together, we love giving guests a place where everyone in the family — paws included — can feel right at home.
Guidelines for a paw-some stay
We want your pet to enjoy their getaway just as much as you do. A few simple guidelines help keep the retreat safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone. Please keep pets supervised; they should not be left unattended inside or outside, and crating them indoors is required if you leave the property. Use the fenced backyard responsibly, remembering that supervision is still needed and local leash laws apply when outside the property. Help keep the cabin clean by using the pet cleaning station for muddy paws and cleaning up all pet waste using the designated bin. We kindly request that only house-trained pets stay with us and that pets are kept off beds and furniture. Bringing a pet bed or blanket helps them feel comfortable. Lastly, be mindful of local wildlife and neighboring properties. When these simple guidelines are followed, pets and their people tend to have a wonderful, relaxed stay.

Enjoy peaceful Lakeside Walks right in our quiet lake community, perfect for fresh air and exploring the shoreline together. For a day trip, Little River Canyon National Preserve is a short drive away, offering stunning scenic overlooks, waterfalls, and hiking trails where leashed dogs are welcome – a favorite for guests and their pets. Cherokee Rock Village also offers incredible views and unique rock formations, providing plenty of space to explore. Additionally, several nearby restaurants offer outdoor seating, making it easy to bring your pup along while you enjoy a meal. Whether it’s a morning walk, a scenic hike, or simply relaxing outside by the lake, there are plenty of ways to make memories with your furry companion during your stay.
